Ultra Heavy Duty MEA EN1000 Channel Drain – Runcorn, Cheshire

Castings Services Ltd have successfully, specified and supplied a large volume of MEA EN1000 Channel Drain, complete with F900 ultra-heavy duty gratings, for installation in a large service yard in Runcorn, Cheshire.

The sales team at Castings Services Ltd were handed drawings, asked to conduct a take-off, and supply the goods on the same day, as the customer had site contractors waiting to install the channel drain.

The take-off had to be conducted immediately in order to identify the most suitable system of MEA channel drain. The products then to be selected by the Castings Services Ltd yard staff, loaded onto a vehicle, and transported to Runcorn in time for installation.

Once the take-off from the drawings was complete, it was established that the customer required 3 lengthy runs of EN1000 channel complete with F900 ultra-heavy duty gratings. Included at the ends of each run of channel were 2x 0.5m channels to create corner sections.
